I've got this mountain practically in my back yard and the boyfriend drove me around hunting for powerlines. He mostly kept his laughing at me hanging out the window taking pictures to himself. Mostly.
On the way back home we passed this cow pasture. I was facing the sun so the closer ones were all washed out, but there is a powerline running right through the middle of it (I promise, it's really there!) and the little black cow standing up was watching us drive by and it was too cute.

Those are perfect shots, I love them! :) I was constantly eyeballing powerlines too, but was usually driving and unable to snap any! That mountain is beautiful!!!
Oww! They would have been excellent shots without those powerlines! :D Great Work! :)
I find even the houses in the second shot as annoying as the powerlines, but it's a great shot, as it makes a statement. It's so hard to photograph a natural landscape without some man made thing in the way.
Great job capturing the theme. I hate when those lines get in the way of fantastic shots like you have.
Love the mountain even if there is a stinkin' powerline in the way!
Even though there are powerlines everywhere the mountains are beautiful!!!
such lush surrounds
beautiful
The mountain is gorgeous, despite the powerlines.
Oooh! Is that a volcano? It looks so omninous with it's snow covered cone. Deadly beauty, right?
Wow! Such beautiful photos, too. I think you captured the challenge perfectly in your phots. Well done!

Wow, those are great scenes...minus the powerlines.....Ü
Sorry! I didn't scroll down far enough to find the Sunday Stills. Great pictures. Even with the powerlines. :)
